Cloverfield Premier !!

If you have spent as much time online as me, or rather "MoSai" (which is way too much)
Or caught the teaser before the Tranformer movie in cinemas or also Beowulf (?)

You should have know about the film Cloverfield, or "1-18-08" as it was known earlier

Well, I won tickets to the Premier of the much anticipated Cloverfield on the 16th of Jan, 08 which was in Cineleisure
Thank you Hitz.fm for the invite

Never been to a premier before, but read about it

We had to surrender our handphones or whatever electronics to them
They'd put it in a paper bag, staple it and kept it in a safe place (wire baskets behind the counter -_-)
And get a ticket or number or whatever tracing mechanism they use

Well, my partner and I ;) left our stuffs in my car so we don't have to give them anything

After that section of checking in, ushers with some sort of handheld metal detector scanned our body for unauthorised item
It feels weird yet exciting going through those just to watch a movie

Not going to spoil the movie for anyone, only this
If you have heard of the movie and have the slightest interest in it, you should like it
If you haven't heard of the movie, it will not be that appealing

So, its either "you love it" or "you effing hate it"

Cheers :)

Omelette

I'm backdating this post
I have no idea when this is
But I have to show people the omelette that I made myself =)

One day I woke up when no one was home
And I was hungry
Was lazy to go and buy food, was bored of just instant noodles

So I decided to make omelette to go with the maggi mee, haha

Took out the sausages and chopped 'em and chopped some onions which made me cry, really
Turned out quite well if I do say so myself

Saved some for my mom and had her tried it when she came back
She said I could cook already :D

Later that day she said should have let me took up culinary

Ya right..
As if she would
There was nothing else in her mind other than a business course for me when I was looking for colleges after SPM

Bleaaaah

But the omelette is nice....

Happy 2008 ! (And a little story)

Happy New Year everyone ! Or whatever's left of my blog audience..

How's your New Year Eve ?
Mine was nothing less than great :)

So Exam is coming up for me and I haven't started studying at all. AT ALL !
Gotta study soon hehe

BTW, if you haven't known already, Digg is a social content website, where users/us/normal-people have control on what piece of news should be seen by the world

Anyway, I found this recent story interesting

Did the Chinese discover America?

This article is saying that a researcher or historian recently wrote a book concluding that the Chinese were to first to explore the world and map America.
Earlier than Columbus, who in actual fact, accidentally came upon America (he was aiming for India)

So what happened was, in 1421, the Chines emperor Zhu Di decided to be a good host and dispatched 800 junks (chinese boats) to send delegates of different nations back to their country after attending something at the Forbidden City
And he also ordered the crew on board to explore and map and bring back tributes from these lands back to China.

Obviously, the Chinese did not make the most out of it, as the Europeans came a few hundred years later and made themselves comfy and continue to build what is known to us as the United States of America

So, ya.
This writer, this book is saying the Chinese should be the rightful owner of America
Well, not really.. I made that up
Nothing drastic can be done right now. The whites have been in America for a long long time

But some questions can be asked

Did the European's massacre all the Chinese in America long long time ago when they claimed the new land to be theirs ?
What happened to those Chinese when USA was declared independent ?
Are the Red Indians, in fact, Chinese ? (just kidding :D)

I may not be talking much sense here
I'm sleepy

Happy New Year !
